Project Manager
Project Manager

Position Summary
Organize Me is looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage organization of key client projects. This role will provide critical client and team management services, specifically helping to assess client needs and developing plans to address them within budget and scope. The Project Manager will ensure that both the team and projects under their management achieve the best possible outcomes.
Position Details
The Project Manager is expected to take on the following roles and responsibilities:
- Perform on-site scoping and assessments for clients with President or Operations Manager.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility.
- Create effective project plans and ensure their execution.
- In cooperation with the President and Operations Manager, decide upon team assignments for particular projects.
- Schedule project and communicate team assignments and job specifications to team members.
- Coordinate with team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Facilitate client change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
- Coordinate and schedule required vendors and service providers.
- Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues, when needed and requested.
- Identify and develop new or ongoing opportunities with clients, in collaboration with assigned project team.
- Ensure client satisfaction and project completion, as needed.
- Confirm client satisfaction.
Requirements
A strong candidate will have the following required prior experience, skills and dispositions:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Suite.
The ideal candidate will also have the following preferred prior experience skills and dispositions:
- Experience using MM360 or other equivalent CRM/project management systems.
- Experience using Sling or other equivalent time tracking applications.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.

Position Summary
The Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of professional organizing and move management projects for individuals and families. This role combines strong organization and leadership skills with hands-on project management to deliver customized solutions that improve the function and flow of clients’ homes.
Project Managers at Organize Me Inc. lead on-site teams, coordinate vendors, and ensure all project milestones are met with a polished, client-first approach. Our clients often include busy families, older adults in transition, and individuals who expect high-touch service, discretion, and excellent communication. The Project Manager plays a key role in delivering a calm, efficient experience and exceptional results.
This is a client-facing, in-home role that requires flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to solve problems in real time.

- Position Type: Regular, part-time or full-time, non-exempt
- Compensation: $45 to $50 per hour, commensurate with experience
- Location: New York, NY (travel to client homes required)
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to create clear project plans, timelines, and staffing plans
- Prepare for projects by reviewing scope, client goals, and household logistics in advance of each workday
- Lead the project team on-site to ensure work is completed efficiently and to Organize Me standards
- Maintain momentum on each project and ensure milestones are achieved within the expected timeframe
- Identify risks, constraints, and scope changes early and communicate them proactively to the Operations Manager
Team Leadership
- In cooperation with the Operations Manager, determine team assignments for each project
- Schedule projects and communicate team schedules, assignments, and job specifications
- Provide clear direction to team members throughout each project day
- Support team performance by addressing questions and resolving issues as they arise
- Ensure a professional, respectful, and calm team environment while working in clients’ homes
Client Experience and Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the project day, when assigned
- Maintain a high-touch client experience through proactive communication and clear expectations
- Protect client confidentiality and uphold a polished and professional presence at all times
- Ensure work areas are left tidy and orderly at the end of each workday
- Conduct end-of-day and end-of-project walkthroughs with clients, as needed
Vendor and Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate and schedule vendors and service providers (movers, handymen, donation pickups, installers, etc.)
- Ensure vendor schedules and services align with project goals and timelines
- Communicate project details to vendors as needed to reduce client burden and improve efficiency
Reporting and Documentation
- Provide updates to the Operations Manager at the end of each workday (daily recap and progress notes)
- Document project details including key decisions, client preferences, and next steps
- Support internal improvements by sharing repeatable systems and lessons learned
Business Development Support
- Identify opportunities for additional work such as future organizing sessions, maintenance visits, and continued support. Discuss with Operations Manager.

Position Requirements (Required)
A strong candidate will have the following experience, skills, and dispositions:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in project management, logistics, operations, or client services
- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and drive projects through to completion
- Strong client-facing communication skills and professional presence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask and pivot
- Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where plans can evolve
- Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar)
Preferred Experience / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will also have:
- Experience using project management tools
- Experience using time tracking tools and/or project time reporting systems
- Understanding of formal project management methodologies
- PMP / PRINCE2 certification (a plus)
- Professional organizing, move management, or luxury service experience (a plus)
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
This is an on-site position working inside client homes and requires:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and work actively throughout the day
- Comfort working in active environments that may involve packing, sorting, and moving household items
